Garmin Fenix 8 :Pricey but if you’re looking for performance
The Garmin Fenix 8 blends rugged durability with cutting-edge features. It now includes vibrant AMOLED displays, a built-in speaker/mic for calls and voice control, and advanced health tracking. GPS accuracy, topographic maps, and multi-sport modes make it ideal for serious athletes and adventurers. Battery life is excellent—up to 16 days—even with the AMOLED screen. New dive-ready buttons and a built-in flashlight add versatility. It’s pricey, starting around £900, but offers unmatched performance for those who demand the best.
Fitbit 2025
Fitbit’s legacy lives on through the Google Pixel Watch 3, now the most advanced Fitbit-powered device. It offers sleek design, accurate health tracking, and deep integration with Google services. While traditional Fitbit models like the Charge 6 and Inspire 3 remain solid budget options, the Pixel Watch 3 delivers the most complete and premium Fitbit experience yet
Samsung Galaxy Watch 7
The Galaxy Watch 7 is Samsung’s most advanced smartwatch yet, blending sleek design with powerful health and AI features. It introduces Galaxy AI for personalized wellness insights, sleep apnea detection, and a redesigned sensor for improved accuracy. Running Wear OS, it supports Google apps, contactless payments, and voice control. Fitness tracking is top-tier, with ECG, SpO2, and body composition analysis. Battery life remains a modest 1–2 days, but the Watch Ultra variant offers up to 48 hours. It’s a premium choice for Android users seeking a stylish, health-focused wearable with smart assistant integration.
Suunto Run
The Suunto Run is a feature-packed GPS watch tailored for runners, offering offline music, accurate heart rate tracking, and a sleek new UI—all at just £199. It includes triathlon mode, hydration reminders, and recovery insights. While it lacks offline maps, its value and performance make it a compelling alternative to pricier multisport watches
It's important to note that personal preferences and specific fitness goals may influence the choice of a fitness watch. It's recommended to research and compare the features of different models to find the one that best suits your needs.
We said this in ‘23, same goes for our ‘25 set !
The way this works is that if you are an Apple user, the Apple Watch usually wins hands down. If you’re just focused on straightforward fitness, Fitbit is your brand. More outdoorsy? Well Garmin and Suunto are the weapons of choice, while Samsung or Android aficionados can go for the Galaxy Watch. Frankly, there aren’t any “right” answers but, like all 4D views we look to balance features and value. You won’t be using many of the feature, so why overpay?
